I'm still fumbling my way through AutoCad - with 18 years of ProE / Creo this 2D lark seems to be a backwards step, but I'm getting used to it...

The one thing I can't figure out or understand, is why I can create circles, or arcs and everything is peachy. Then the next time I open up the drawing, it has gone from a nice curve or radii into a dodecagon or a hexadecagon... I'm trying to align stuff to an arc, not a series of lines, and the only thing that seems to work is deleting it, and re-drawing it, or copying it, deleting the source and pasting it back.

Obviously there is a way to fix this as a glitch like this can't be SOP, so how do I recover my perfect arcs, or turn off whatever is making this happen???

Try the function "redraw" Dave see if that changes them back to a proper circle/arc.

I knew the answer would be on here.
No-one had taught me the redraw or regen function... redrwaw didn't work - but regen did...

Cheers guys, next time I'm ready to put my fist through the AutoCad screen, I'll open my browser and direct my question here LOL

Out of curiosity. . What version do you use?

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018
