They are handy for lining up the manifold and head

my head and inlet manifold has been opened out, so I can't use them, but they do help line everything up. On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

The inlet manifold I have has had the lower section of the lugs (that the studs clamp down on) removed allowing the manifold to be lifted straight up and off once the studs have been slackened, negating the possibility of using those round things.
