right im in a bit of a trouble here, i bought a car off ebay on monday night and when checking over last night i realised that on one of the wheels 2 of the studs have been snaped (leaving 2 holding the wheel on). So how can i get these off of should i buy a neW hub, is there a trick to it as im sure this sort of thing happens all the time on engines. |

Just to add, if they are bolts as opposed to studs broken, a good way to get them out is to drill a smallish (say 6mm) hole in the middle of them, then hammer in a suitably sized torx or allen key bit, and then you can usually wind them out of the hub.

not familier with the renaults but if its got studs and nuts just do what as been advised above and twat the broken stud out and pull the new one in with a big nut and a spare wheel nut theRe should be no need to even remove hub. and drilling it out will be pointless as you dont want to drill the splines out. no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
