Ive just fitted the Custom Cages T45 into my car. I saw Endafs historic go upside down without marking the cage - thats good enough for me
I seriously doubt it! |

Was yours all ok then, I've heard of the being a poor fit (not the t45 mini ones granted) and bits missing from the contents.

I looked into a T45 from Custom Cages. But ended up getting CDS 8 point from Andy Robinson Race Cars.

Car is OK now - but it looked a bit bent after the accident. |

I've got my car booked in on 22nd of this month for a Customcages Historic T45 cage. Endaf is welding it in on his jig, including additional rear turret support, and tied into the A/B Pillers. It's proving a lot more expensive than I intailally thought, but should be worth it. About a 10.5kg saving over my SD CDS cage. Edited by alaskanow0 on 12th Dec, 2014. Cheers for the tag Carl but there's no way I'd drive a car that some randomer had fitted a £500 'custom' cage into.

It's all down to the person fitting it at the end of the day. Just don't buy a notched kit. You need to notch it yourself to make it fit properly. It's not rocket science. |

heard mixed reports from Custom Cages before. At the rally place I was at before, had 2 fiestas M-sport cars done there. The Group-N one was poorly welded in places the R2 one was cock-on David. |

Endaf Owens said he's done loads and they fit really well and tight to the shell. Class C 3rd Place Avon 2011 14.18 @101mph |

I would imagine that a lot of it comes down the skill of the man (or woman) fitting it! If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |
