A few questions around getting ready for the turbo engine rebuild

What carb needle should I use as a starting point for a gt1752 on matty manifold with benross head running 10psi or so with intercooler ?

Looking at a Peugeot 307 2.0d or Cooper D intercooler, which is best both in fit and efficiency? Both are cheap on eBay, any other alternatives?

Dont want to modify the plenum, where does the dump valve go then? Adjustable or non?

Do people use the carb heatshield with this setup? Would an aluminium one be better?

Many thanks

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

i would start with a standard turbo BDD needle, or anyone realy if your going to the RR as soon as which would be my best advise and the rolling road operator will thin this down to suite for the correct mixture,

IMO i would opt for the cossie 2wd cooler, you could fit the dump valve on the cossie cooler as theres a provision for it ................ but ideally the dump valves position would be close to the plenum or on it .............. i have both on my setup.

heatshield wise an ally one painted matt black would be the best.

this is just my input other peeps may advise different ?

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Rotherham, South Yorkshire

BCA needle will give safe fuelling for masses of boost (25+ psi in the metro van). Not so good for economy as it's rich in most
situations.
