Hi mini brain boxes out there.

I have a metro turbo engine in good running order, but the last owner removed the turbo bits and bobs from the car as he couldn't be bothered faffing around changing the bulkhead etc. so it is just a low compression 1300 metro engine. My question is how easy is it, to get the parts and turn the engine back into a metro turbo again (after re-building it obviously)??

Cheers in anticipation, Neil.

ebay might be a gud place to look seems 2 have had a few turbos on lately most bits like fuel pump regulator etc u can get new
dont forget ull need the oil return that bolts on the block if u lucky mite still be on the turbo when u get it plus ull need air filter plus pipe.
when i did my turbo i bought everyfing seperate and didnt struggle to much one bit of important advise when u buy a turbo make sure all the parts are onit like exhaust elbow and ally oil return pipe coz rover dont do them anymore and i ended up having to buy 2 turbos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and ull need to upgrade u radiator

Cheers for that people. In response to your advice/questions, as far as I know, the carb and dizzy are the turbo ones.

As for upgrading the radiator, I have been offered a nearly new RADTEC alloy racing radiator, would this do the trick.

Cheers all. Neil. *wink*
