Anyone used one of these, or too pricey with shipping from Sweden?
Looks like could be a decent fit with the standard v band clamp, or are there cheaper alternatives?
Eg cobra inlet pipe cut down?

Anyone got a pic of a cut down cobra they're using?

Not a very good picture, but this what I did

It is the bottom part and a bit of the other end just held together with good old JB Weld - been on there for at least 5 years.

Does anyone know how the V-band clamps are sized?

This looks right but still need to make or buy the adaptor.

Good use of jbweld tadge44, I'm going to have to try that stuff. Do you have a pic of the final install, still thinking about pipe routings etc.

Paul S, I can't work out how v-bands & are sized either! I've asked an eBay supplier of 2.25" ID v-band & mild steel flanges for the OD but just realised it's in China, wonder what I'll get back!

My instal won,t help you I,m afraid, because it is in a 1957 Austin A35 which is rear wheel drive with the engine 90 degrees different to the Mini.

The V band that came with the Saab parts was nothing like the one shown in that link, just a pressed steel band that surrounded the stub on the turbo and the ridge on the "cobra".

I suggest that you look up Saab parts, perhaps.
