New cam followers with second hand cam?

Hi all sorry if this has been covered but couldn't find anything on the search.

I have a second hand mg metro cam to fit. The question is do I need to use new followers? I know if fitting a new cam your suppose to fit new followers.

if its a new cam to you, fit new followers imo
but is its a rebuild and you have the old followers and numbered them they should be fine

yep new cam to me. what is with the followers with the oil drain holes, are they worth having?

drain oil making them lighter relieving some strain on valve springs is my guess i cant see the hole doing harm so why not?

Might be worth getting followers from Calver if what has been said about them is correct. I think he can even re grind old gen ones.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
