Fucking shit, paid loads of money to be stuck in traffic and people started packing up at 4 about 2 hours after most people got there. Never again.

Yeah the traffic is shite... unless you get out early its pants! Last year i didnt get there til bout 2 aswell.. this year we got there at 11 but didnt get parked up til 12! .... i saw loads of turbo minis! That one above was a vtec werent it? On 24th Oct, 2015 jonny f said:

Not sure, i saw a flip colour vtec mini broken down though, which we saw running again afterwards. I spotted Jonny Fs mini and a couple familiar cars but didn't see nicks about. A few really 'not to my taste' turbo minis dotted about, plus the guy i know from local to me, he had a red roundnose with the vent on the back centre of the bonnet. Lots of people were having a good look at Shauna's engine bay, they didn't really notice the car until the bay caught their eye. Perfect sleeper. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

I was going to pop over for a chat but I had my grandparents with me and they take some looking after!.. how did you do in the show and shine? Looked the best one there IMO I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

I managed 2nd got a nice trophy and to shake ed china's hand. The judges really didn't seem that interested, barely even looked under the car! Just had a look at the sills. Think my engine let me down a little as it was a bit grubby. They also said they're supossed to give points on how clean your carpet is so not sure what i got there.
Hopefully have the turbo in next year and try again. I'd recomend anyone on here trying to get into show and shine makes it a much better run apart from having to be at the car when the judges come round and having to wait until 4 to leave. |
