Hi,

I seem to be getting a blowing noise coming from the turbo like you would if a gasket had gone i can feel air/exhaust gas coming out of the turbo and i have checked and it def not coming from the manifold. DOes anyone have any ideas what this might be and how can it be fixed? Do i need to take the engine out to fix this problem? I'm sorry for the lack of techy speak but ihave only been using a turbo mini for a month now. Any ideas?

Many thanks

Matt

It was like that when i got there!

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

i hazard a guess at this one!

the clamp my friend

do a serch on exaust clamps theres a mismach

from using the mg metro clamp to a 2" after market down pipe. the clamp will require releiving a small amount of metal

on a clamp designed for a 1/78" downpipe

if... you are using the 2" after market down pipe *wink*

tam

you have to remove around 4 to 5mm around the BTM colar on the clamp.

like i said the the old metro down pipe was 1"/78

so the clamps nipping up on the new down pipe
before it can pull up onto the flange

a small die grinder will do the trick

good luck buddy and let us know how you got on *happy*

avon bar do good clams for the maniflow system. I used one for years with no problems.

I recomend getting the bolts welded in on one side, then all you need to do is worry about doing the nuts up.
