My first thought on this was that it looks like a fairly reasonable idea, but it looks a little bulky to fit under the bonnet of a mini, also... Over £500! Nah. They seem to be hung up on the idea that a suck through system wil ice the carb, is that a common occurance? If so then I'm thinking I might go blow through with an intercooler.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

I'm thinking blow through but also considering taking the injection from a later model 1.3i Mini and sticking that on with a bit of Pritt Stick and hoping for the best!
