Good evening Folks , id like to introduce myself i am Rob i have had a few minis in the past

1275 stg 1 ( it was a start )

a 1971 b16a1 all-speed vtec i built (and then disposed of in a very short time ) i think the crash was covered on tmf
this one is shown on the abs Motorsports website in the clubman front section with the 2 stars in the grille pre crash !

i then played with and restored a mini van i did have plans to fit a b20 vtec Frankenstein engine into but i couldn't bring myself to do it. so it went to a 1330 lightened balanced stg 3 twin carb jobbie ........
the one on the abs Motorsport website group 5 euro arches !!
as i bought it i turned it blue and tricked out the interior before selling it to a british airways pilot !!

now i have a project car needs a bit of welding in the boot it has a 1275 mg metro engine that need a rebuild so im going to convert it to a clubman front and go turbo. for me and my girls !

ive read through alot of the threads on here and can use the search function with great results i have read and bookmarked the turbo minis .com site and would just like to thank you all for the information you have shared for me to digest before i undertake this next phase.

also have an 80% complete haynes roadster(im bored with building and is for sale)
and a landrover defender as a workhorse

love the toys !

thanks guys look forward to starting got to finish the new improved garage/workshop (or the builder has !)

its annoying having it sat under the front window with my toolbox in the dining room ..................
