If it was me I'd try a bdd which is the standard metro turbo needle. If that didn't feel right I'd start fiddling. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

In my experience bdd is far too lean.
I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

like andy says the BCA but this is well rich, i must agree with wil and start fiddling ............. i hope you have a AEM lambda gauge ?

I do have some measurements at the station points somewhere and mapped my old needle against a 1275 and then looked for close standard matches.

There you go then. Buy a BDD and a BCA and you'll be good to go. It's so long since I fiddled wit hcarbs I forget all the needles I tried (well started with - they all got attacked with a file!)
