I am looking at fitting this adapter plate between my oil filter and housing so i can have a oil temperature take off.

What is the thread size for the filter to screw onto? this universal adapter comes with a few but just want to make sure it has the correct fitment.

3/4 unf, I've fitted one, there fine.

Slight thread hijack, how did you get from the 1/8 thread to 3/8?
