Thats what i was working on. Might never be finished but the idea could be applied to a mini too i think. Ive not fitted a bypass yet as i couldn't decide if it was better to do a recirculating type from charge cooler - inlet or if i could just stick a couple of dump valves on the blower exit and let them vent to atmosphere. I guess is doesn't really matter tho.

You need the throttle infront of that blower and run all ridgid charge pipes.

Also, why the charge cooler, you could just fit an intercooler.

Why re invent the wheel, unless you like a challenge?

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

We will see if it ever gets done. It's easy to move the throttle if it doesn't work but I'm pretty sure it will. There's no room for an intercooler, the charge cooler is a really neat solution too.

With a large bypass between blower and IC, either venting to atmos or recirc, the throttle placement above is fine

Placing the throttle before the blower presents it's own issues with such a large inlet tract

202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will
