Had the mini out for the first time in a good while and all had been in good working order before the time off. I hear the turbo (t3 metro) spooling up and dump valve is working when I let off, but boost gauge is never getting past 0. Am I right in thinking it may be a stuck wastegate and if so how do I further diagnose/fix the issue. Appreciate any help!

Matt

If the dump valve is working, then you have boost. I would start by testing the gauge and it's plumbing. Try pressurising the gauge's signal line with a foot pump.

I am t'd off between the manifold and dump valve which I think is correct. Car definitely feels like it is getting boost and I have tried multiple gauges with same result. Stumped. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Is it driving the same and just no guage reading or are you down on power to?

Test gauge and line by blowing pressure into it where it's fitted at the manifold

Mini made all the right noises when it first went together but no boost. Eventually found out the line to the wastegate was kinked and holding it slightly open (can only assume it was creating a bit of a vacuum). Sorted that and all went fun!

There is no reason ever the w/g should see vacuum, and vacuum would pull it shut anyway.

Does not seem to be lacking for power

Ok, to put it another way, there was no free flow of air to and from the wastegate actuator allowing it to hold open. The hose may have allowed movement in one direction like a one way valve.
