Run a timing belt in? Load of bollocks. Once it's tensioned that's it.

Reminds me of one time I had an exhaust fitted that sounded like a kazoo. The 'mechanic' informed me that it will need to "soot up" before it muffles the sound adequately. In the 13's at last!.. Just |

Right... had my fun in it BUT i cant really drive it like it should because under REAL hard acceleration i get a weird vibration noise? Ive googled it and im getting alot of rear 'dog leg' engine mounts coming back... and apparently the noise is the exhaust vibratin on real hard accelration? To back up this theory i can feel the engine rocking back n forth when blipping the throttle... enough to see the gear stick move quite considerably... had a snout underneath at the dogbone and i was expecting real bad cracked falling out rubber but it dont look too bad? Does move a little bit.. and obviously would move alot more under real driving conditions but thought see what your guys opinions on it? On 24th Oct, 2015 jonny f said:
