Been having a fair few issues with trying to get my car started...

wouldnt turn over on the starter the starter pinion kept throwing out its one of these

http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/a...e-starter-motor

went through my normal messing about of jump leads due to me thinking it was battery related etc

in the end out of desperation i fitted the boggo standard shagged starter motor out of my spares in the shed it cranked it over perfectly and started straight away.

so anyone else had these type of issues?

Never heard anything good about Birse starters.

Have a look at the Minispares ones, OEM quality.

the design shows a distinct lack of imagination,
talk about starting off with a clean sheet of paper, then not bothering to fucking draw on it,lol

Yes I get every now and then I put it down the fact I don't use it much, I found also I had to loosen the top bolt off and push the top of the starter away from the block as it would bind up.

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.
