The "6R4 stuff" is just the std Metro panels that it shared with the std car

No 6R4 stuff ever went through Longbridge, a couple of show cars were built there but everything of any substance was either done directly by Williams or 3rd parties they instructed.

It looks like stuff one of the demolition companies took or one of the last people out the door took it as a 'perk'

Most, if not all of this are 'blueprints' and not the originals which were mostly drawn on film, everything I ever saw was drawn on film, some, (but very few) bits were drawn on CADDS 4X (Computervision) but it was only just starting to be used at the time and I imagine any of the 'discs' of that data are long gone

A lot looks just like floor plans or general body assemblies, I can't see any working / engineering drawings in amongst all of it, oh, and an old microfiche 'printer' / viewer

It all passed through the metro owners club. There was very little A series related stuff, and anything of interest was kept. What is left is loads of Rover 100 drawings.

Indeed, jack at the metro owners club had some of the memorabilia items but what is left is the blue prints for the alterations at longbridge, the blueprints for the production line, the blue prints for the body shell, he blue prints for the tools to make the shell and the assembly jigs. As well as the equipment to read it. i have been to see it and after spending quite a few hours it is all there.

I have a couple of the A+ revision blueprints. They weren't cheep, but the Cooper S ones did sell for an awful lot more! That was way back when shortly after the Rover Group went into liquidation, so someone has been hiding these away, maybe in the hope they would increase in value

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

How hard would it be to reverse engineer these things, get a gearbox lazer scanned and produce a set of drawings that way.

Blocks would obviously be more tricky, but frankly I can't see any of it drying up for a good 20 years.
