Alright guys, can someone give me a value to sell the mini for? It's agreed at £7000 on my insurance but obviously I'm a bit more realistic than that haha. It went to the rolling road today so is running well at 8psi with 74bhp/76lbft. Pretty basic 998 engine spec..
T2/GT15 hybrid
12G295 head (needs converting)
Mirage manifold
Megajolt
MG metro cam
Upgraded clutch
Standard bottom end with a uprated diff pin and a central oil pick up
The only thing I would say it needs is a respray but that's because I'm picky and the paint is far from perfect to me!

I don't have a photo of the interior as it is now as I recently retrimmed my original front seats without the headrests, I can get some at the weekend when I've got the car if that helps! As you all know it's made to still look standard. Not sure if that enough info on not to give it a true value but if there's anything else let me know and I'll add it! Thaaaaanks!

Yeah, I'm not really sure what to value it at tbh seeing as the engine isn't a massive spec although it would make a good daily as it's been ours since before the engine was done. I'm just not sure anyone's taste is the same as mine and would actually want to pay much for it either.

I have recently been looking for on the market for a project. From what I have seen I would say engine is not a massive selling point on most minis but having a little more power and looking standard like yours is a big plus . I was looking up to 3k and have seen everything from complete rot boxes to some fairly solid minis but all need some sort of work . I was very surprised in how the prices have gone up . I would say from just looking at the pictures it's got to be 5k plus . As Dave says it's worth what someone is willing to pay , trouble is there are lots of people that don't know what they are looking at and end up buying a shed for strong money , they come and look at yours and won't really see the difference or appreciate the work and money it takes to get it looking and running like that. I would be tempted to gumtree with £6k and see what happens . Hope this helps .

Which rolling road did you use?

Southam mini metro center, it went to hitech the week before and came out not running because they'd flooded it and then decided to blow all the fuel through the carb into everywhere else

Looks like a lovely mini
pretty standard but nicely done
Would say its worth more with a NA in it
and sell the turbo setup seperately

If it's going, it's going as it is. Otherwise I may as well just break it for parts and make a lot more back from it but I don't have the storage and don't particularly want to do that anyway.

Figure out what you want for it and have a figure in mind that would be absolutely rock bottom, an amount that you wouldn't accept below. Then I'd throw another grand or so on top and see what it attracts.. people naturally want to pay below an asking price as to feel they've done well out of it. If you get the asking price then happy days!

It would be a shame to break, looks like a nice clean example thats been looked after. I agree with Rob on his estimate of 3-4K but reckon it'd go for the higher side of that, possibly more. I spend much of my spare time looking at selling sites such as fleabay and often see not as clean cars go for more. Redrat's idea of throwing it up on the net for 6K and see what happens is prob the road I'd go down...

I saw your car in person and despite a couple of tiny blemishes, the paint looks great IMO.
Personally, I love the styling, but it would be easier to sell on a set of alloys - something common like Minilites.

I would say 3-4k. For 6k, you can pick up top spec cars in show condition. I looked to value my 7 port clubman, and gathered Id be lucky to pull back 7-8k.

Yeah id say if you got time aim real high!! If not sadly 3-4k, i know turbos only appeal to nutters that are all on here...as said before the rest dont understand or appreciate what goes into it.. i struggled to get 4500 valuation for mine, id be happy if i got 5 or 6 for mine but as them all is worth more in bits

Did anyone see the cars outside bingley for sale ? I know it was a show and the first one of the year for that matter but some of them wanted £4k for cars that needed body work I was surprised how the market has gone up . And to think 6 years ago I scrapped a resto project 😳
