Hi Lads,

Okay so im on the home straight as far as the project goes. Just to install the extra wiring for the megajolt system.

1st- The switched feed for the system I am going to take from the new main fuse box that I have fitted and feed this through a relay switched by an ignition keyed live. I am guessing this 10A fused feed can feed both the EDIS 4 and coil pack. Do you guys run another fused switched live to feed the MJLJR?

2nd- The vacuum port on the MJLJR. Where are you guys connecting this pipe?

Sorry if they are considered no brainer questions but I want to do it the right way.

Cheers

Paul

Coil pack, I used the existing coil feed power supply (non ballast) The switched feed can supply the mjlj and the edis 4, the important part is the earth the edis and megajolt unit at the same point.
The MAP pipe connects to the inlet manifold after the butterfly, but do not use the old vac advance takeoff as the butterfly can interrupt the signal as it passes over the hole to close.

Thanks!

I'm in Frimley. Remember I popped over to your last year and had that intercooler off you?

Lol im still working on mine. Hope to have it back on the road soon though. I Had it in mini magazine as a feature car in 2013 but took it off the road again to fit various parts including an intercooler and Megajolt.

Are you guys running the tacho off of the edis module or off of the mega jolt unit?
