Been a while since I updated so maybe time for a project thread.

I guess I always knew when I got a Mini again, that it wouldn't take long and it hasn't. Started collating the parts for the conversion and aside from the megajolt (if I can ever get it to work) it will be old skool T3 Metro turbo stuff.

Head is away getting looked at, block is hopefully secured and the turbo bits in the garage, Just got the T3 back from Turbo Solutions with a trick impeller and some more parts on the way from Mini Spares.

This is how she looks at the mo and I am pretty pleased with the old skool look and will probably stay this way for now.

This is the T3 just annoying me and nagging me to get my finger out.

This is the mess that is the megajolt that I am going to have to unravel at some point.

Not normally a fan of Clubmans, but that is a good looking car.

First thing to do was to get her rolling on her size 13s.

Sprayed the Grille in black and spruced up the GT badge. Here she is snuggled up at home.

As we are going old skool, the Mk4 rear lights had to go and a reversing lamp fitted to the boot. Not a rip off from the works rally days as I use a different style lamp.

So I think I may have made a mistake in choosing the 13" wheels and want to go to 10" but can't make up my mind what to go for. Did think about Mambas for a while but not sure.

I am not in Force Racing, MB or KAD money territory however.

Any suggestions?

That does look really nice, and I'm not a massive fan of 13s, but those do look at home there.
