I have a couple of radius arms that have been reconditioned at some point by going down the route of having the bush replaced with a bearing identical to the opposite end.

The bore in the arm casting that houses the bush has been bored out to accept the larger OD of the bearing.

I am going to turn an interference fit sleeve to take up the difference and rebuild the arm properly with a bush, reamed to size etc.

Before i go off and calculate what it should be; Does anyone know (or can measure) the bore size that the bush presses into in the radius arm?

Thanks in advance

Anyone? Just need an accurate measurement of the bore dia that the bush presses into.

leeds/wakefield.

The bronze lined bush measure 0.942"
so I'd be tempted to bore to 0.944 and if needs be bearing fit to save it crushing too much once fitted
