Hi guys, i need to know a fairly simple question.
Does the centre point between the two drivers seat mounts (on the floor crossmember) Line up with the steering column?

Do those of you who run non-standard seats use the same mounting points on the crossmember?

I need to know so my rollcage guy can place the harness eyelets directly behind the seat. I am going to run two seats that are high back fixed bucket seats with the harnesses.
I'm not sure whether i will run my seats inline with the existing seat mounts in the floor crossmember, OR make new mounts and place the seats more in front of the steering wheel.
Any help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance

I made up brackets to blot my seat to the floor so the originals are long gone. I'm pretty sure I lined the seat up centre with the wheel but I do recall adjusting it a fair amount until I was happy with the position.

You may have more of an issue with physically fitting some seats in side by side depending on what you are going to fit. That may be more of a deciding factor

Hope this helps. You may find the seat can only go where it fits, due to clearance with the b pillar.

Can just see the mount here on mine. It's rectangle box welded to the floor all round with new eyelets welded to the box section.

Standard position is on the piss to the steering wheel, ive welded up subframes to over one side to deal with this

Yeah mine are staggered, mainly cos I'm a short ass but it helps with clearance around the headrest area and B pillar.
