Im sure the pressure is when the valve starts to crack open, looks like a 12psi or 1bar(14psi) actuator On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

The gt17 ( if from a saab) should be around 4psi Yes i moved to the darkside |

if its off a diesel itll start to crack open at 14psi+ as a general rule with "half a hole" preload(3mm or so) the boost it cracks open at is the boost the engine will run. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)
