Evening folks...

I'm renewing all the components of my braking system. I will be getting rid of the servo and replacing with a new master cylinder... one of these...

http://minispares.com/product/Classic/Brak...ack%20to%20shop

My question is... do I just come out of the top of that cylinder into a limiter valve like this...

http://minispares.com/product/Classic/Brak...ack%20to%20shop

And then from there a direct pipe to front set of brakes and another pipe to the rear set? Is it as easy as that??

I chucked all the old brake bits out as they looked shite so don't have the old bits to compare to and its the first system I will be building up... cheers.

Ah I see... yes was a we bit confused as some of the master cylinders had 2 outlets for the duel line. But, correct me if I'm wrong, the cylinder I want to use is single line and as a result I'd need one of these..

Given the choice I would choose the twin master and use the H shaped bias valve on the bulkhead. If one side of your system fails at least you have done brakes left to stop with.

Right well you've about got it, there's single line with a rear bias valve, or there's a duel line either yellow tag or servo mc which use the bulkhead compensator. There is toms recommendation^ there's also quite a few threads you will find with a search as to other people's preferences, possibly even a much cheaper alternative to the bias valve you posted there.

Yes I think I do have it now.. I think I like the idea of Tom's recommendation as it makes sense if one side fails the other is left working.

Thanks chaps, I do believe I have it now *Yes*

That's a single line cylinder and a duel line valve. As Tom says either get a single line valve or a duel line cylinder. Duel is probably safer!
