I'd have thought a genuine Lucas one might be that - but surely you can get non-gen ones for 30 notes or so?

hellfords have them for around ?30, im sure they do as ive seen a few people mention it on here before.

Theres hundreds of scrappies in wiltshire, just fill in one of them internet scrap forms then people phone ya with prices

ok had a quick look today turns out your local store is chatting shit, they are now obsolete but if a store has one lying around they are ?8 summat next best after that i can get them for bout ?25-?30 pm me if you want one

Nogin - If you find a lucas store, Try and get a part number or something - and ask if there is a way of ordering one on-line - or finding your local store or something...

Ask for trade discount as well, takes about 50% off.

Only thing is though i think you'll find them very expensive, im sure ive asked before.

It's used on the Land Rover V8 90 on.

theyre used on a shit load of cars, not just metros..... pretty much any car with a lucas dizzy uses one... so all later metros, and rovers, also i think some fords or vauxhalls use them as well, i certainly have never had any probvlem finding one in the scrapyards......
