Is this a yay or a nay? Just removed my head and some of the studs worked loose rather easy. I have some studlock 270. Thoughts from the pro's?

Ive never needed to, also 270 is pretty strong so only use a dot.

They're ARP studs. Don't like the idea of getting them stuck and running the thread with stud removal tools. Will probably leave it.

I forget where, but I read that studs should be screwed in only finger tight.

It is not a problem if they unscrew with the head nut any way.

Only use it on the front stud of an 11 stud setup to stop the coolant leak up the thread...

And even then I'd use thread sealant (535??) not 270 locktite, or you'll never get the thing out. If you don't need the sealant though, they're just installed finger tight.
