Sounds like connection issues with mjlj
The edis module will start and run the car in limp mode on its own with static timing

How do you know the map sensor is not working?

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

If I rev the car or suck on the vac pipe the gauge doesn't move

I didn't shield the wires from the edis unit to the MJ may be that's why!?

sounds like the jolts not getting power, even with no rpm signal you should see the MAP gauge move in the software.

if you were seing the gauges move, bit no advance then it would be the signal from the jolt to the edis, or the edis itself.

Green light is on and revs are showing on the laptop! I did purchase a tps MJ and fitted a map sensor with resistors.I now know why it's took me two years to fit it!

In that case im almost certain you have to flash the mjlj to tell it its now got map sensors instead of tps

The Black Countraaaaay

If it's been converted from TPS to MAP it needs resetting as it wont recognise the MAP signal
