Morning chaps,

Just a quick one, had some spark plugs delivered this morning and went out to fit them. Before I put them in I thought I'd clean up the holes (that I had old rags stuffed into to stop dust getting in) and had a look into the pistons with a torch and noticed that the piston dishes looked a bit gunky. I poked a long flat screwdriver in and gently scraped the piston. I had previously sprayed WD40 in there a couple of times in the year or so its been sat in my garage and turned it by hand as to maintain it. Now, maybe it wasn't the right thing to do but its done now and there is a very thin layer/film residue left from the WD40 (I'm guessing). Is this a big problem or not such a big problem if I can remove most of it somehow through the spark plug holes?

Dave.

I'd just ignore it.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

If you're worried about it, get water injection on it. Keeps the Pistons lovely and shiny.

In the 13's at last!.. Just
