Hi Everyone

I'm Nathan and I'm based in Berkshire. I've been recommended to join this forum from the Mk1-performance forum.

I have two mini's both from 1964. One is a standard 998 Cooper, the other is a bitsa toy that has very little original parts left.

The toy currently has a 1293 A-series 5-porter with a race head a 296 kent cam and 45 Weber. But after cracking the cylinder head I now want to try a K1200rs conversion. It seems that this forum is the most active in this kind of conversion. So I'm here to seek advice.

I am going to carry out the majority of the conversion on my own, fortunately my Father has a well equipped workshop.

I have also been inspired by both Sprockets and Matty's builds.

Nathan

Cheers guys.

I'll get pictures sorted out once I start a project thread. But the engine plans are starting to come together.

Just need to finish the garage build now.
