When using the A series Metro front knuckle / hub with the sealed ball joints:

Does anyone know if the standard A series Mini front wheel bearings are the same as A series Metro?

GSF seems to list A series Metro and A series Mini automatic as the same wheel bearing, but the manual A series Mini as a different front wheel bearing?

Any ideas

Cheers

Could one be the taper bearings and one be the ball equivalent? Off the top of my head I think they are interchangeable but later cars and metros had balls??.

Should be interchangeable. I ordered bearings off the metro donor reg and the ball type arrived, mini rollers that I already had fitted too

Cheers guys

I did think the two part numbers might be roller / taper

I just wasn't sure if the A series Metro somehow had a slightly different lateral offset or something.

I'll get some Minispares bearings
