What sort of price is deamed reasonable for a 2nd hand carb (turbo one obviously) and plenum chamber. I have been ringing round the breakers and most are quoting ?40 for the carb and another ?40 for the plenum. |

they already to BA? i saw in a mini mag ages ago that they had the tooling and were reproducing the turbo carb to original spec, was around ?200 i think

Sounds about right for a breakers price. Paid ?40 for my montego plenum IIRC. Burlen do list the turbo carb on their website, its ?220.

?80 for a turbo carb and plenum is very steep IMHO. Look to pay around ?10 for a plenum and ?30ish for a carb and inlet.

?40 is steep for a plenum, i've seen them on Miniclassic etc for ?10-15, which seems a bit fairer. Try checking some other forums "for sale section"
