Filter usually goes after the pump and before the regulator. If you are still using a factory tank, that has a strainer on the pick up to stop all the big chunks killing the pump. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

That's only about 8mm. Feed to an external pump is usually more like 13mm. In the 13's at last!.. Just |

That filter is far too small for an efi pump, both diameter and flow ability
9.85 @ 145mph

i like one of those cheep clear plastic ones pre pump and a good metal fine particle one post pump pre regulator |

Oh... so thats no good then? I did notice that there is a strainer in the tank when I was cleaning it up.
