So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Autoglym tar and glue, spray on, let to soak in, rub off with microfibre and repeat with a little scrubbing for the small spots

My missus got tar and white line paint all up the side of her (black) car. It was coming off with thinners, but it was hard work.

Paid a chips away guy to do it in the end. He just used thinners but had more patience.

Don't waste your money on autoglym, it's rubbish. Buy 'autosmart tardis', it's the ultimate tar remover. Spray one and watch the tar run off. Go on YouTube to see for yourself!

I find autoflym the best for tar and glue removal, there are better products on the market but less easily available, Shauna uses some stuff called gyeon, just make sure its not cellulose paint as it stripped the pigment out of a panel on her car with pther day, there's also stuff called tardis which is really good and quite cheap

Tbh, whilst doing valeting for a bit, the autosmart products were much better than autoglyms products, except for the shampoo I think.

You might need aggressive clay to get some stubborn bits off safely. Depends how much you care about the finish of your painr and how baked on it is really
