I don,t think that you should expect any answer with a figure in it.

There are so many other factors involved that it is impossible to quote a power gain.

If you are going turbo ( and I hope you are) then the Kent 266 works well - and I speak from personal experience.

Correct. Any mild cam will be a worthwhile improvement, MD266 included. BHP Figures? Who knows, who cares, if it will feels better to drive.

Yes I'm running a turbo, gt1752 on Matty manifold, got a ported head etc, pulls well on 10psi but power drops off at 6000rpm.im wanting lose some midrange torque and gain abit more top end if possible

I haven't driven with one for a long time, but I know others say the standard 1275 cam gets asthmatic at high revs.

Specs for MD266 says it produces power between 1000 and 6500. I wouldn't expect it to give less mid range power, but since it's just better overall you may be able to drop the boost down and still get the same effect.

Also, have you monitored the boost at 6000rpm to make sure it's not falling away for because of some other reason?

My Kent 266 runs easily to 7200 through the gears, with boost at 15psi, so maybe a change of cam would be beneficial

boost is not dropping off at all,but dont want to rev past 6500 in any gear, engine feel as if its gone out off balance at 6500 as power drops off,i thought it could be valve bounce but heads got double vavle springs and slimline ss valves,
