Hi guys

Got the car running an driving lovely, passed the mot aswell

The only problem I have ATM is that the car completely cuts out under boost, but not all the time, if I baby it into boost to will get pretty far up the rev range before it cuts out, but if I'm trying to go for it like pulling out of a junction it will get through 1st gear but stall in second, so I have to turn the ignition off and start it again with a backfire

It will also misses a little bit when accelerating under boost

It does it at different times, I've looked at the map and have smoothed it out as much as I could but that hasn't helped

I'm running nodiz,

The thoughts I have ATM is that it's maybe the pipe going to the map sensor? I'm using the blue silicon stuff of eBay, can it balloon?

And the other one is maybe the crank sensor is moving round,

Thanks
Callum

Got a picture of the support?
How much can you move it by hand?
What's changed since you last had it running properly?

You think it's fuel related then?

Seems to be running rich most of the time on the afr.

But I will have a look and try it :)

It seems pretty good tbh haha

And also I haven't had it running properly yet as it's only just got on the road

To be blunt Callum, trying to help you is frustrating.

When you post a problem on here, people will always try to help you, but the fact is, you don't know what the cause is (and neither do we), so you need to try ALL the suggestions with an open mind and answer ALL the questions clearly. If you don't, then people won't bother replying a second time.

Honestly, no offence intended - I hope you fix your car.

I just replied saying I'm gonna try what you guys said, I don't know what else you want me to reply with?

Also I don't wanna sound like a cunt back, I love this forum and the feel of it, I just seem to annoying most people on here :L

Sorry haha

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

Callum, a hunch here fit new spark plugs first! I know they may be new. . . But fit New ones again!!
Espcially if its a new build
Then any missfires under boost are usually a lean mixture, take the advice above callum.

I've done the t piece trick and it has settled the afr gauge down and I can now see at higher Rpms it is leaning off,

So I'm going to book into a rr and get it all sorted out

It may not be leaning off just because the gauge says so. If the plugs are wilting then free oxygen gets through and shows as a lean mixture, because the sensor is an oxygen sensor, not a mixture sensor.

Did you check or change the plugs yet ?
