To anyone who thinks 30psi is impossible is taking shit,as i am running 35psi on regular basis without any problems. My annual
engine rebuilds consist of of mainly camshaft; oil pump and piston rings among other cheap little bits, which is reasonable for
a 270+bhp A series engine. The Engine and drive train alone costs over ?10k and enables me to pull 11sec down a 1/4 mile strip. I've tried T2 turbos and found them petty much useless for
high bhp figures.

Regarding anti-lag i'm running it regularly, which gives me roughly 6psi at idle. This is quite a tame setup and hasn't given me any problems as EGT is quite low provided you don't let it idle for more than a minute with it switched on. I've tried a more
aggressive setup which gave me 20psi at idle but it kills turbos
and manifolds like there is no tomorrow.

My current setup is very driveable and an absolute animal when you give it some.

To sumup mini300bhp, I think you are abit ambitious but 300bhp should be possible with NOS!

If you got the right gearbox it should hold up? Some of the JKD cases are much stronger and have extra webbing. Add some roller drops and an LSD and your away. The 6speed dogbox is the strongest of the bunch at the mo me think.

11 second quarter in a mini?

I have anti-lag that works, it involves pressing the loud pedal, using the clutch and gearbox to keep it on the boil.

A little like the nothing under 4k race cammed 1380 i used to run.

was having a chat with simon at morspeed the other day he was saying how tim's car is the nicest he's been in, pretty sure he runs 2 bar simon did mention he takes it apart every 6 months though! oh wheres this graph for the 270 bhp btw?

270bhp, is not out of the question, but 11 secs 1/4's, on what drag strip?

i did read tim was running 30psi but ran 13's, so what exactly have u done dom that knocks 2 seconds off as 2 seonds is a fair ammount on the 1/4?
