You was right Tom, it was the crack pressure. I had it set too high. I should learn to read instructions first, there was a good idiots guide on utube.

The 171 hp was at the flywheel.
145 hp at the wheels.

What's the point in having in car gauges such at boost, temp, afr, etc? Because there in no way you can take your eyes off the road to look at them when you have your foot planted!
It has certainly gob smacked at how fast a mini is with 130+hp.

Just wait. This is what happendwith me. Set boost to moderate level - car is all over the place torque steering. Setup suspension nicely - no more torque steer. Turn boost up - all over the place again. Rose joint everything - drives straight again. Turn boost up and ruin it again.

In the 13's at last!.. Just

I am trying to mix it with you hardened turbo nutters. Its my first stab at it and i have only broken a couple of pot joints, goosed oil pump, many carb rebuilds, etc. I haven't even exploded my engine yet?

Thanks JT. It's not quite as good as yours though.
I don't have a build thread. It's a 1975 gt on its original floors and cills which must be rare. I originally only had plans of reconditioning the existing motor with a 266 poked in it. But I made the mistake of going to see benross.
But joking aside I couldn't be more happier, he has built me a fantastic motor which the results speak for it.
