Does anyone have a part number for some leads to use with megajolt/EDIS unit that turn 90deg at the spark plug rather than coming straight up.

I ended up chopping the spark plug ends off some fiesta leads, and crimping on 90 deg ends using a coax cable crimping tool. Worked well, and my leads are exactly the length I wanted without having to shell out for leads being made. |

Soldering and crimping should be easy and give you the most options, but also, look for motorcycle screw in plug caps. No need to crimp as they have what looks like a small wood screw that you just twist the cable onto. Note that some also have a 5K resistor built in, so avoid those if you already have resisted plugs. Edited by PhilR on 25th Sep, 2015. |
