3rd/4th synchro sleeve looks to be the wrong way round. Be carefull though as the synchro hub only goes on one way too

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

If i pul out this one

no idea of the English name) the bearing comes allong. And i lift the layshaft back out... would i be able to change that syncro without having to strip the rest? ( other bearing)

No. You won't be able to lift the synchro hub out of the selector fork easily enough to get it out without risking balls and springs escaping.

Spend some 30 minutes ( again) ripping it appart again and rebuilding it. Finally got it working right...! Another step closer to turbo.

Had it out proper... Could not resist shifting when it was in again... ( without the layshaft) ping.... 3 bals and 3 springs out!!! Got them back together without lifting it all out again but more work then a rebuild
