Hi folks. just about to start a dry build on my k1100 build. need to order some new subframe mounts and have been toying with the solid mounts; have saw online a few cases where the mounts have ripped around where they mount to the shell, has anyone else had this problem?

They certainly stiffen things up and do increase noise slightly but I have heard about them fracturing but I think that those where the blue ones made by another company

Never heard anyone complain about these

Iv used them in the passed and have a brand new set of the ones in the link above that I no longer will be using as I sold the car I was going to use them on if you want them £27 delivered still in the packet they came in

Solid mounts improve the drive of the car 100%. Go kart like steering due to the subframe not flexing when you steer.

Swansea boyo!

Knew you'd be on this haha! I'd definitely recommend them after changing my top ones yesterday, really does change the feel of driving. I did find the car slightly louder and harder than before but I wouldn't go back now!

They don't die, they just get faster!
