They are I believe hardened steel......not an ideal material to butt up against aluminium alloy, especially when using helical gears due to the side loading.

Depends on which sizes you need bud, the larger ones are more money, despite the fact they are only thousands of an inch larger.

and dont foget to use diffenerent gaskets as cheep ones are to thick so buy a decent set. always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |

it all depends hoggy on whether or not its the earlier type or the later, because the later type was ?Sloped? together with silicon, the tolerances were different
