Hi, currently building a turbo 1275 marina engine with type 9 gearbox to go into a morris minor.

With that sort of spec 150bhp should be easily attainable,

As David says, plus I would keep the standard crank,mine survives 200bhp plus 60bhp on the strip. The rear oil seal is a problem, they all tend to leak with a blower on. If you intend to rag it hard over race distances you might want to think about oil squirts but otherwise don't bother. 'Where does the engine go?' |
