Just overhauling carb, but can't find the right socket/spanner for the dashpot screws, the ones which secure it to the main carb body.
Theres 3 of the buggers, and are also found on the bottom of the carb on the cover plate.

Does anyone know what the size/name of the tool is?

Cheers, Tim

cut a slot in em with a junior hacksaw and use a flat blaade screwdriver on em, you get new slotted ones in the rebuild kits anyway.

Managed to persuade the buggers off with a pair of mole grips.

So, for future reference, tools needed are:

Choice selection of abusive language loud enough for the neighbours to hear(used repeatly in different combinations), A cup of tea to kill time inbetween 'rounds' with each bolt, oh and a pair of mole grips would be handy!

Cheers for the info, Tim
