you'll need a metro turbo dizzy, they've got a different curve to the NA variety.

The standard turbo head did come with double springs yes.

As for driveshafts it depends on your diff really...i'd say that you'll probably be running pot joint type ones which are the most common and came on the metro/mini as standard although they are different lengths i believe between the 2 cars. the mini definately has the n/s one shorter than the o/s anyway.

Your standard mini driveshafts will be fine, obviously make sure the CV joints are not on their last legs.

Other than that, have a read through the site.

There are too many things to list that you could change, it is up to how much money you want to spend and what you want to use the car for.

As is widely written, the gearbox in particular the drop gears and diff are weak points, so any money spent here is definately worthwhile.

my mini is mechanicle fine, its just know winter is setting in it will give me and a couple of mates something to do at night. ive just been round my mates garage on my dinner break and was looking at a old technical data book and it said the metro turbo used the same carb type and model as the n/a metro 1275 so would this carb be usable on the turbo plus wot is the difference between the sportex inlet ive got on my mini and the turbo one, my mate the mechanic said id have to use a turbo one. but i was wondering the differnce.

Metro turbo engines have a "book" power of 94bhp, that goes for the ERA Turbos as well. Its only a guide figure really, don't take it as gospel.

Metro turbo carburettor although similar to the n/a metro carb is not the same. It has improved sealing and also is boost sensitive. It is possible to convert a NA carb to work with the turbo, but it is a lot easier if you can get hold of the right carb to start with. Keep your eye on ebay they seem to pop up regularly.

The turbo inlet is a different shape to stop mixture leaning out on the inner two cylinders when on boost.

You need the proper manifold really.

All of this has been covered many times in the forum, I suggest you need to do a search and some reading up of past topics to gain some knowledge you will find useful. :)

also with a NA inlet you wont have a chance of getting underneath to tighten up the manifold nuts. Much easier to get hold of a Turbo carb and inlet off ebay if you spot one.
