Someone came to see my mini today (its up for sale) and i wasnt there as im at uni, so my dad shows the guys the car for me.

The 998cc engine i put in it was sweet as a nut last week when i last run it. Really didnt miss a beat.

Bloke and son come to see car, they start it up and the engine unleashes a gigantic clould of very smelly oily smoke, fuck sake.

Then the engine is rattling and knocking..... The bloke uses a hammer shaft to listen to the block, recons the big ends are gone.

They turn engine off, FUCKING starter motor is jammed on.

Man and son walk off

My car clearly doesnt want to leave....

My dad has been out tinkering with it, once he gave the starter a twat with a hammer it disengaged.

The rattle must have been the starter chatering with the ring gear on the runnning engine.

Hopefully the smoke willl disapear as i think it was due to me filling up the dashpot - maybe i over filled it.
