I have a dissy with a 2 pin module does this just replace the points. ie one wire from coil and the other to earth from the module?

Need to know how to wire it lol, mine may have just given up working I haven't got a clue so any help would be great.

Both wires from ignition module go to coil, one to pos, one to neg (pulse) side.

how do you know which is which on the module? I cant see any markings they are at 90degs to each other if the that helps!!!

what's the deal with 3 pin modules? is one of them just left unconnected and wired as a 2 pin?

if i rem correctly possitive is on the top pin and neg is on the bottom pin if that helps

yeah think i know is that with the module on the right hand side of the dizzy as you look at it from the front of the car

Hi

with the module on the right the connection at the top connect to the + side and the bottom one to the - side of the coil.

Cheers that what I needed to know, as it turned out the dissy buggered. Had a spare module tried that nothing so I guess it must be the pick up coil inside gone.

So got a std dissy 26deg cent adv which is almost all in by 3000rpm, and 11deg vac. So that should be some where near.

think so, its a unipart original coil 12v
