I'm on with stripping diff and looking at new bearings, the ahu1856 bearings for sale on mini spares say they need 1 or 2 thou preload but other places :eBay say they don't need any preload just fit with no shims at all, can someone confirm which is right please, cheers phil |

1 to 2 thou preload is correct for the bearings that are currently available.
