Hi,

Does anyone know the numbers for the turbo first motion bearing? Or has anyone gone the distance to fit another size/type due to the turbo bearing being hard to find and to expensive.

Pictures would be great.

Thanks
Karl.

I personally run the standard sized bearing with a standard sized transfer case. However that is with SC drops

I dont know if that is recomended with helical gears. Maybe rover put the bigger bearings on there to do with size loading from the helical drops.

I got the turbo type bearing from a bearing supply company for ?11 if I remember rightly.

Minits in Hockley Heath also stock them.

Part number for turbo first motion bearing is 2/LRJ15.8, Rover list them as ADU6003. Minispares want £50+VAT. I bought one from a local bearing place today for £24+VAT!
Some dimensions if needed:

OD 1.692"
ID 5/8" ( or 15.8mm)
Thickness 7/16"*wink*
